A History of the Centre Hall Area Library

The Centre Hall Library Association was established in April 1993. A group of dedicated community members came together with a dream to build a public library in Centre Hall, Pennsylvania. In September of 1997, their dream became a reality when the Centre Hall Library opened its doors. Fast forward more than 20 years. The library has become such a vital part of the Penns Valley community that it has outgrown its space. The Centre Hall Library Association is dreaming once again. This time it’s of an expanded library with a larger space and additional rooms for community use.
